Q: Should I be present for the home inspection?

A: Being present for the home inspection is not required, but it is highly recommended. You will be able to observe the inspector, ask questions, and learn about the condition of the house up close.

Q: How much will repairs cost?

A: Massachusetts regulations forbid home inspectors from quoting or estimating repair costs. We will however direct you to the appropriate tradesman that can give you estimates.

Q: Would you let your son or daughter buy this house?

A: We don't tell you whether or not to buy the house, or whether or not it "fails". However we do provide an extensive evaluation of the condition of the home and based on that you will need to decide whether it has "passed or failed" given the amount of the purchase.
